P has been replacing all the dodgy rotten posts this week with shiny new ones. We finally hit on a method that involved my driving the tractor and him positioning them with a small mallet before awaiting the arrival of a post driver. Understandably, after 250 of the things, he's a wee bit knackered.

I've finishedddddddd!!!!!
Hallelujah! I've finished the pruning. It's all pruned, all pulled and P has taken all the piquets that need replacing out.
Next week then we can start tying in, repairing wires, tidying up, etc etc.
Before then though I need to deal with the Tax forms... oh joy oh rapture.

Sunshine.
Well the sun is shining and the daffodils are out.
We've been away for a week and I'm back to pruning and trying to summon some enthusiasm for trying to arrange appointments with the tax office/VAT man and the-new-mythical-green-form lot.
I'm going to set myself the task of finishing the pruning in this weeks forcast, sunny weather and save all tax do-hickeys for next weeks rain... somehow that seems appropriate. I hate accounts and tax things, it makes me feel like a child, waking up, with something nasty in the back of ones head, which you've temporarily forgotten whilst asleep... than again I suspect this feeling isn't restricted to childhood.
Until then, back to the pruning.
Hope its sunny where you are.
