People, do you still want to come and stay in the gîte when it's finished?
P is mowing between the vines for the last time this year and generally putting the vineyard to bed for the winter.
It's noticeably colder here now, I've ramonaged the kitchen chimney and think I might have to light the fire for our french lesson this afternoon.
Y.U seems to think it's colder too, bulking up for winter has already started. Not to mention more of this kind of activity......
And here's me thinking you two had fallen off the side of the planet! Have just randomly clicked on the blog, expecting to see nothing added and wow, there's loads in here since I last visited. Sorry blossom ... I thought it would ping me a message when you updated something. Sounds like you guys have been busy, busy, busy - tiring just reading about it - exercise, manual labour (to some they are the same thing), learning and conversing in French, baking ... all very very impressive!
